Last week I visited the river Narmada and found that so many devotees were immersing the idol of lord Ganesh in river without thinking that the river has become a dirty runnel. They were throwing all worship garbage and poly bags in the river without thinking what they were doing. Our government should make very strong law to protect rivers and our eco system. There should be strict fine for throwing garbage and anything in the river. I was really sad to all this nuisance. People can immerse the Lord Ganesh and Durga Idol at home in the clean water and later on they can use the mud in their garden. Please stop this immersion in the name of God.
